For its second collection, Service Area leans into the shadowy allure of David Fincher’s cinematic universe and the uncompromising energy of ’90s Antwerp street culture.
The result is a wardrobe that feels both weathered and enduring—sun-faded tones and timeworn patterns that evoke garments shaped by experience rather than design alone. These pieces resist ephemerality; they inhabit a space where grit meets grace, where the timelessness of well-worn fabric becomes a statement of its own.
Service Area distills rebellion into subtlety, offering clothes that carry the weight of stories already lived and those still to come.

Collection #1: Antwerp Casual Crew
Service Area, the new brand from VIER Antwerp founder Giancarlo Angeletti, launches with a collection deeply rooted in the late 90s and early 2000s football casual culture, particularly that of the Antwerp Casual Crew. This first collection is a tribute to a distinctive style that blends the raw energy of football hooliganism with the fashion sensibilities of Antwerp, a city known for its cutting-edge style.
Inspired by a private collection of photographs from the Antwerp Casual Crew, Angeletti has reinterpreted the old-school Antwerp Casual look, infusing it with his contemporary vision. The collection captures the essence of a time when the line between football culture and the Belgian club scene was blurred, creating a unique style that was both rebellious and refined. The Antwerp crew, known for their avant-garde approach compared to rival groups, seamlessly combined elements from British casual movement, the rave and club scene, and streetwear. Snobbish brands like Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Paul & Shark, Best Company or Burberry would be combined with sportswear brands like Ellesse, Umbro, Adidas and Lonsdale.
This debut collection from Service Area is designed for versatility, echoing the needs of those who lived this culture. Whether heading to a football match or a night out at a club, the garments are crafted to transition effortlessly between different settings. Key pieces include washed (acid) denim, faded colors contrasting bold ones, and iconic pieces like trucker jackets and football shirts, all of which were staples in the Antwerp hooligan’s wardrobe. Everything is produced in Europe, using quality materials and paying attention to fits.
Angeletti’s collection not only pays homage to this iconic period but also aligns with his broader vision for fashion—where streetwear meets high fashion, creating a look that is both accessible and elevated. The pieces in this collection are a modern take on a bygone era, reflecting a style that is at once nostalgic and forward-thinking.
Service Area’s debut is more than just a collection; it’s a narrative woven from the threads of history, culture, and innovation. It invites wearers to embrace a look that’s as dynamic and multifaceted as the lives they lead, whether on the terraces, in the streets, or on the dance floor.
